Marik Brockman, FOunder

Marik has over 25 years of experience in corporate strategy and management consulting roles focused on digital transformation, new market development, customer experience, and distribution. He launched Bravitas Advisory in 2019 to translate real-world experience into hands-on projects for clients. Bravitas remains an LLC with a network of collaborators, but Marik has been dedicated to his Client Principal role at Dell Technologies since 2021, serving leading enterprises in retail, utilities, and homeland security. Marik also proudly serves as Vice Chair of the Philanthropy Board for OHSU’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, OR.

Prior to leading strategy and content development for clients across industries at Bravitas Advisory, Marik served as VP of Strategy & Partnerships at CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA insurer. He also served as interim Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer to launch the new innovation division, merging it with the strategy team he built, adding corporate development and venture investing.

Prior to CSAA, Marik was an advisory partner at PwC and Diamond Technology Partners, serving top U.S. and global P&C and Life insurers since 2000. Marik’s industry perspectives have been published by A.M. Best, Insurance Journal, Digital Insurance, Information Week, MSN Money, and others. He speaks on macro trends and disruption at conferences, and holds an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and a BS in Political Science from Santa Clara University.

Eric Dorre, Founder, Highbury Associates

Eric is an experienced operator of companies at the intersection of technology disruption and regulatory change, with a track-record for scaling technology-enabled businesses through partnerships. He has deep consulting experience at PWC Advisory (formerly Diamond Technology Partners) and Oliver Wyman. He has considerable operational expertise from executive level roles at SIX Swiss Stock Exchange, Deutsche Bank, RGM Advisors (now DRW), and Madison Tyler Holdings (now Virtu Financial). Eric served as General Manager at Applied Minds, Inc., a research and development company creating a range of new products, services and spin‐offs in software, electronics, biotechnology and mechanical design. He is an advisor and board member of startups in the FinTech space, and a Techstars Mentor.

Eric earned his MBA focusing on Decisions Sciences from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, and earned his BA in Geography from Dartmouth College. Eric resides in Seattle, recently relocated there with his family after 9 years in London. Eric serves as a member of the Friends of Dartmouth Swimming Board, Admissions Ambassador at Dartmouth, as well as a youth leader for the Boy Scouts of America. Eric speaks conversationally fluent Brazilian Portuguese. There is nowhere in the world Eric hasn’t been or hasn’t done business.

Jeff catalina, founder, further advisory

Jeff launched Further Advisory, a boutique management consultancy focused on converting strategic vision into business reality. Further Advisory's name was inspired by the team's ethic to go the extra mile, equipping clients with critical insights and plans for navigating challenges and accelerating change.

Jeff has over 20 years of experience and deep insight into the Financial Services industry, working extensively across the B2B, consumer payments, and merchant value chains. He has expertise in developing pragmatic, execution-ready strategies that leverage technology, data, and operational capabilities to unleash business value for clients.

Prior, Jeff was a partner at PwC and Diamond Management and Technology Consultants where, among other roles, he helped lead the Payments practice. Jeff holds an MBA and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Notre Dame.

Guy Fraker, insurance Industry Innovator

Guy Fraker is a Chief Innovation Officer, advisor to risk managers, insurers, and insurtechs. He is a futurist, innovation strategy consultant, public policy advisor, dealmaker, inventor, entrepreneur, speaker optimist, husband, father, brother, son, and fisherman.

Guy works with organizations who believe in the Art of the Possible then act on the aspirational. His experiences include a total of 15 launches and/or turnarounds across private, not-for-profits, and government sectors. His credits include the creation of 2 markets, 13 insurance product inventions, and the creation of over $400M in capital value. Clients span the US, UK, Central & South Africa, India, Canada, Germany, and UAE. Guy earned his MBA from the University of Georgia and a BS in Behavioral Economics from the University of Wyoming.
